About Us
The Sass-e Big Sisters Mentorship Club is a transformative program designed to support and empowers disadvantaged Black and Brown girls and teens, ages 7-18, which face the challenges of being plus-size. By creating a safe and nurturing environment, the program aims to build confidence, foster self-acceptance, and equip these young women with the tools they need to navigate life's challenges, including body shaming and bullying. The program covers essential topics such as body positivity, entrepreneurship, academic success, health, finance, and mental wellness through a series of structured workshops and activities.
Mission
Our mission is to empower curvy and confidently unique Black and Brown girls and teens by providing a supportive environment where they can develop essential life skills, embrace their individuality, and achieve their full potential. Our program is dedicated to promoting self-confidence, positive body image, mental health awareness, entrepreneurship, and workforce development, equipping these young women with the tools they need to thrive personally, professionally, and emotionally.
